When your face gets messed up due to some reason, it gets really hard to get it back. But,with the latest technology nothing is impossible. According to reports,you can now get partial face transplants. Here’s what happened to a 38 year old Isabelle Dinoire<\/strong>, who is the first person to get a partial face transplant<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dinoire’s face was messed up by her own pet dog. A lot of flesh was torn off from her face by her dog<\/strong>. It has been six months since she got her cheeks, mouth, lips and chin replaced. A team of doctors led by Jean-Michel Dubernard <\/strong>of Lyon University<\/strong> in France made a successful partial transplantation on Isabelle Dinoire’s face.

Although, the initial stages were extremely difficult for Isabelle. During the first month, Isabelle Dinoire had to undergo intensive psychotherapy to prepare her for the healing process. Her lips refused to move properly at first. She had trouble pronouncing the letters P and B. But several months after the partial transplant things started to get better for the victim of dog bite.<\/p>\n

After Isabelle’s successful partial facial transplant<\/strong>, couple others have tried this treatment. I guess the partial facial transplant is still in it’s early stage. After several surgeries, the doctors will be able to solve all the issues related to the partial facial transplant. I am satisfied by the fact that you don’t have to get your entire face redone anymore.<\/p>\n
