The study was based on the administration of the drug ‘Zytiga’ which affects the circulation of cancer cells in the blood stream. The survival of a cancer patient is related to the number of cancer cells circulating in the blood stream. In reference to the research, Zytiga reduces the count of cancer cells in the blood flow. <\/p>\n

Hence, it could assist in determining whether a particular treatment could extend the life of a patient. According to the researcher, it could eventually help in finding treatments which could help to prolong a patient\u2019s life. These treatments could be less expensive and less time consuming. Dr. Howard Scher, a leading cancer researcher from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, is the lead author of the research. <\/p>\n
