Rum is distilled from the extracted sugar cane juice, and in some cases is the by-product of molasses. It&#8217;s stored in charred oak casks and the process continues up to 30 years and beyond. Rum is mostly clear when it comes from<b> <\/b>the steel tank and is called white rum, while the one matured in oak casks has a caramel color and is popularly called dark rum. Name of the dish: Mojito<\/b><br \/><b>Complexity level: <\/b>Easy<br \/><b>Time taken: <\/b>10 Minutes<br \/><b>Ingredients<\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 parts White rum <\/p>\n<p>1 part Lime juice<\/p>\n<p>top up Soda water<\/p>\n<p>10 Mint sprigs<\/p>\n<p>1 part Ice cubes<\/p>\n<p>1 Lime slice<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon Sugar<\/p>\n<p><b>Process:<\/b> Begin by mashing the mint and sugar together. Now add the dark or light rum (according to availability\/taste), lime juice and pour it over the ice. Finally, serve it in a highball glass and garnish it with some mint leaves and rind of lime.<\/p>\n<p><b>2. Name of the dish: Pina <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Complexity level:<\/b> Easy<\/p>\n<p><b>Time taken:<\/b> 10 Minutes<\/p>\n<p><b>Ingredients: <\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 parts golden rum<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon cream of coconut<\/p>\n<p>dash of cream<\/p>\n<p>3 parts Pineapple juice<\/p>\n<p>1 Orange slice<\/p>\n<p> <b>Process: <\/b>      Take all the ingredients and blend it well in a blender until smooth. Now      pour it over ice in a frosted highball glass. Finally garnish it with a      slice of pineapple.<\/p>\n<p><b>3. Name of the dish: Hurricane<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Complexity level:<\/b> Easy<\/p>\n<p><b>Time taken:<\/b> 10 minutes<\/p>\n<p><b>Ingredients<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1 part Gin<\/p>\n<p>3 parts White rum<\/p>\n<p>3 parts Dark rum<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 part Amaretto Di Saronno<\/p>\n<p>top up Grapefruit juice<\/p>\n<p>dash of Grenadine<\/p>\n<p>top up Pineapple juice<\/p>\n<p>top up Orange juice<\/p>\n<p>5 Ice cubes<\/p>\n<p>1 Maraschino cherry<\/p>\n<p> <b>Process:<\/b>  Begin by extracting the juice from half a lime into the shaker that already contains ice. Now pour all the other ingredients into the shaker and shake well. Finally, strain the mixture into a Hurricane Glass and serve it with a cherry and a slice of an orange.<\/p>\n<p> <b>4. Name of the dish: Tropical Princess<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Complexity level:<\/b> Easy<\/p>\n<p><b>Time taken:<\/b> 10 Minutes<\/p>\n<p><b>Ingredients<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1 part White rum<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 part Cr\u00c3\u00a8me de cacao (white)<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 part Passion fruit liqueur<\/p>\n<p>2 parts Pineapple juice<\/p>\n<p>1 Passion fruit juice<\/p>\n<p>1 Pineapple slice<\/p>\n<p>2 teaspoons Sugar syrup <\/p>\n<p><b>Process:<\/b>  Begin by putting all the ingredients into a shaker and shake well. Remember that the passion fruit juice should be fresh and contain seeds. Now strain it over ice in a Martini glass and garnish it with a pineapple leaf and pineapple wedge on the rim. You can also leave some passion fruit seeds floating on top.  <\/p>\n<p><b>5. Fill a highball glass with ice and pour the rum and live juice. Top it with cola and stir well.
