Turns out many of them are part of his political base.<\/p>\n<p>According to him almost seventy percent of the counties with the highest food stamp aid during the last four years have voted for the republican in the last four years as stated by the U.S Department of Agriculture data compiled by Bloomberg. Republican strongholds like King County, Texas backed the republican John McCain in by 92.6 percent, his largest share in the nation; and fast-growing Douglas County, Colorado.<\/p>\n<p>This clearly means that Romney is counting mainly on the votes by the low income people who are depending on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program commonly referred to as the Food Stamp.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Douglas County\u2019s Republican Party, Mark Baisley said that many recipients of back Romney hoping that he would improve the economy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/alwaysfoodie.com\/?attachment_id=13717\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-13717 noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13717\" alt=\"abe39a3d4691a5d19bf6584db45d\" src=\"https:\/\/drprem.com\/culinary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/83\/2013\/01\/abe39a3d4691a5d19bf6584db45d.jpg\" width=\"615\" height=\"366\" srcset=\"https:\/\/drprem.com\/culinaryguide\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/83\/2013\/01\/abe39a3d4691a5d19bf6584db45d.jpg 615w, https:\/\/drprem.com\/culinaryguide\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/83\/2013\/01\/abe39a3d4691a5d19bf6584db45d-300x179.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 615px) 100vw, 615px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWould you rather be sitting at home wishing you had a job and relying upon the kindness of neighbours?\u201d Baisley said in a telephone interview from Colorado, one of the swing states that Romney and President Barack Obama are battling over. \u201cOr would you rather be self-supporting, with a job that sustains your family?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a video from a May fundraiser, Romney said \u201cthere are 47 percent who are with him,\u201d referring to Obama, \u201cwho are dependent on government.\u201d They \u201cbelieve that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Feeding Families<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The chief marketing strategist of ConvergEx Group LLC in New York predicted that risk adverse voters in competitive states may site with that presidential candidate who would extend them greater benefits to overcome the economic downturn from The Great Depression.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have a lot of people who are relying upon the government to put food on the table for themselves or their families,\u201d Colas said in an interview. \u201cThat\u2019s going to have to inform a lot of decisions.<\/p>\n<p>Romney has even suggested the transfer of the control of food stamps and other federals programs to states.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/alwaysfoodie.com\/?attachment_id=13715\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-13715 noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13715\" alt=\"ap8743264251551-e1351608849476\" src=\"https:\/\/drprem.com\/culinary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/83\/2013\/01\/ap8743264251551-e1351608849476.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"417\" srcset=\"https:\/\/drprem.com\/culinaryguide\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/83\/2013\/01\/ap8743264251551-e1351608849476.jpg 640w, https:\/\/drprem.com\/culinaryguide\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/83\/2013\/01\/ap8743264251551-e1351608849476-300x195.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>$ 80 Billion<\/b><\/p>\n<p>According to the recent figures more than 16 million additional people have on the food stamp aid in the last four years by USDA.
