Toyota has devised a unique technique to promote the company and brand loyalty. In April, this year Toyota had started virtual promotion of its small boxy Scion among kids aged between 8 and 15 year-old. Toyota has paid for the car’s product placement at Whyville.net. This is an interactive community website having huge membership of kids.

The strategy is clear enough that Toyota wants kids to persuade their parents to buy the car or it wants kids to grow with the brand loyalty.

Just after the ten days of commencement of the campaign, the word ‘Scion’ has been used 78,000 times in online chat forums.
