In recent times, advertisement campaigns related to travel and tourism have gained significant momentum. Thomas Cook has launched this print advertisement campaign particularly aimed at focusing travel package for senior citizens. However, the target audience of the campaign is a bit difficult to ascertain. The advertisements are showing historical monuments of different places, which appear to have been seen by weak eyes of old citizen. The images have been deliberately shown blurred to give a feeling that if those are being viewed by old eyes.

Moreover, if the campaign was targeted at old age people then it is not at all amusing for them as it would be difficult for them to a blurred photograph with weak eyes. But here idea may be aiming at provoking a feeling to see those historical monuments as they can at least make out from their contours. The campaign was created by Dentsu Marcom, Mumbai, India.
