According to the new Terms and Conditions, any material uploaded on YouTube, will give automatically the transferable right of use to the YouTube. Obviously, it is a serious issue for the YouTube users as it now raises important questions for the uploaded material.

The new Terms and Conditions suggest:

……by submitting the User Submissions to YouTube, you hereby grant YouTube a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicenseable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the User Submissions in connection with the YouTube Website and YouTube’s (and its successor’s) business… in any media formats and through any media channels.

Now, your audio submission or self-created random tunes can become a part of any advertisement as well, if you have uploaded it on YouTube. However, the same case is with the uploaded videos as you grant transferable license to the website with the content.
