A short time ago, Port Authority officially settled to take over the building of the World Trade Center memorial and museum. The officials kick start a national advertisement campaign to raise the remaining amount, $170 million, for the project.
On the occasion, the PA had also given word of honor to contribute an extra $50 million for the construction of the museum and memorial, in addition to $100 million that it had promised at the start of the year.
The cost of entire project involving the construction of memorial and museum has been projected at $740 million.
