Basing on the success of last summer Sony’s BRAVIA and SXRD campaign which made Sony a leader in HDTV, the company is yet to undertake a massive ad campaign in 2007 to promote their products.
Sony will be utilizing ad media such as TV ads, live events, out-of-the-home advertising such as billboards, malls and high-traffic settings and the Web to promote specific programs on HD camcorder and digital cameras, Blu-ray, HDTV’s audio performance, HD content and promotional tie-ins with the new PS3 game system that will include Blu-ray and new Sony Pictures releases. They are even into consumer generated ad asking people to submit ads for Sony products in a contest.
