Samsung silence

Silence is money, at least in this competition conducted by Samsung. In an effort to promote the new Samsung ‘Beat DJ’ mobile phone, Samsung has adopted an innovative and interesting strategy. They have organized a 24-hour silent disco competition in which the participants listened to music on their Beat DJ phones.

The interesting factor is in the mode of elimination. If the phone owner receives a call or text during the 24-hour time period, they will be eliminated from the competition. So, the contestants informed their family and friends to not to contact them during this period. Some asked their family and friends to call other competitors in order to eliminate them.

At last this Samsung silence will be rewarded. The last contestant left standing will receive €10,000 to take the Swedish singer, September, out to dinner.
