The Salvation Army had published this print advertisement in Portugal to attract people attention towards the neglected children who have been largely deprived from their rights. The first ad is showing privileged and unprivileged child with music instruments in their hands in order to depict as for privileged child music may be a leisure activity but for the other child it is means of her livelihood.

The second advertisement of the campaign is equally hard-hitting drawing a clear line between a poor and a rich child. The ad shows that a child is sleeping in a cozy bed and on the other hand a homeless child sleeping on pedestrian.

It was really a good idea for the campaign to draw a clear line between the privileged ones and unprivileged ones to hit people with a powerful message. The copy of the ad reads, ‘The problem isn’t the difference, it’s indifference’. The campaign is credited to JWT, Portugal.
