Failure at the recently held Football World Cup is taking its toll among players. In an interesting development, the star striker of England Wayne Rooney has been slashed out from a £3 million supermarket advertising campaign. The decision has been taken to drop him in the wake of the event at the world cup when Rooney was sent off after a stamping on the Portuguese player Ricardo Carvalho.
However, Asda’s George has decided to carry on its campaign with the Manchester United’s striker popular fiancee Coleen McLoughlin. On the other hand, Rooney is least bothered with this development.
