Online media is increasingly sending the print medium or newspaper, a run for real estate ad revenue. In a major development, it is reported that real estate ads in newspapers would probably take downturn or may start sliding downward in the time to come. It is an astonishing fact as in August last year, real estate ads in newspapers were reported to be growing at a much rapid speed.
According to a recent report by Classified Intelligence, around 51 percent of total surveyed real estate agents are quite reluctant now to [place their advertisement in newspapers and they are now much interested in placing ads in free classified websites.
The trend suggests that newspapers or traditional media is in pressing need to an intensive introspection to formulate a policy to counter on-line imperialism, at least for its own sustenance.
