A survey which questioned 8000 American consumers conducted by CLX revealed that only tiny 13% belongs to 15-24 year old category and unbelievably by breaking all advertising and marketing and management and theory and practice myths above 45 years of demography came as winner, who constitutes whopping 21% of the sample.

Or probably this kind of data is already known to marketers. The other day I reported a story on adpunch on Wynton Marslis. The not-so-new-gen singer appeared in the new iPod commercial.

Don’t know the exact reason why exactly Wynton has been chosen for the iPod advertisement, isn’t he a bit grown up for the iPod generation or may be Apple wants to reach a different demography altogether by releasing this ever popular Donna Lee…probably…I don’t sure about the number though.
