Apa Nova Bucharest, the Romanian capital city’s water supplier and sewerage services provider had launched this hard-hitting outdoor campaign ‘Save the snowmen’. The campaign was launched with a view to raise awareness in Bucharest about the climate changes and the measures to prevent their negative effects. This ambient campaign was unveiled to mark World Environment Day. The advertisement interestingly showing a snowman made of stones and unnatural components reminding people that in future this is the real picture of a snowman if action not taken to protect environment.
The campaign is apparently indicating towards the looming problem of global warming and urged people to take steps to prevent it. The presentation of the campaign is quite fascinating and engaging and using a light but hard-hitting approach it communicates the message effectively. The text of the campaign reads, ‘Planet it’s depending on you not to meltdown. Don’t just sit there, help it! Let you children know how snow looks like.’ The campaign was developed by GMP, Romania.
