Nissan expands alliance with Microsoft

Nissan North America Inc. has recently announced that it is expanding its web advertising initiatives with Microsoft Corp. The fresh expansion of the alliance has made an arrangement for both the companies to work on search advertising campaigns through adCenter. The fresh arrange spells out sponsorship of the ‘Forza Motorsport 2’ console game on Microsoft Xbox 360 and global tournament on Xbox Live. Obviously, Nissan will now have a greater presence on Microsoft’s online properties.

Nissan’s recent decision to expand its alliance with Microsoft has been taken with a view that its target audience are turning increasingly to mobile lifestyle and the time they spent on online is rising significantly. In view of these developments, Nissan has recently launched its interactive ad campaigns such as ‘7 days in a Nissan’ showing a man living in a Nissan Sentra for seven days.

On the other hand, Nissan will sponsor search advertising on Microsoft’s adcenter and will be involved in pilot advertising programs in Window’s Mobile and Microsoft Office Live.
