My crooked mind asks me is it possible Martin Sorrel and Neil French are dear professional friends and Neil French-Nacy Vonk issue is just a calculative move by the teosome creative directors to redirect attention from Samsung, Coca Cola account lost and Martin Sorrel’s (founder of WPP) $45 million divorce settlement.
Neil French is no duffer and he bloody well understands that his sexist remarks would certainly create a furor which he publicly said amidst a 300 strong audience. The question now is why did he go for that? Did he want to camouflage something by lifting up this sexist issue? Or there was something up there which he or rather we should presume a ‘think tank’ from the advertising group intends to do?
Just after his comments WPP group lost two of its major accounts, Coca Cola and Samsung to its lesser known rivals, the clients were long unhappy with the results WPP has churned out. WPP is not simply delivering to their client’s bottomline. Point to be noted, my dear reader, that, Samsung was such a young account and the duo has not yet completed their first anniversary before the split takes place.
