To develop a global online music presence, Nokia is looking out for an advertising agency. For last couple of years, the Finland based Cellphone giant has been aggressively working on its corporate branding and the management of successful consumer perceptions.
To focus more on China and the Far East, Jenny Williams, Nokia’s global head of advertising, has contacted three major advertising agencies. He has asked them to create an overall musical theme to link the brand with in the previously mentioned market.
Nokia, since 1997, has been associating its brand with music when it first launched a mobile phone with downloadable ringtones.
