It is good to watch when MTV, one of the large TV networks, launches a campaign for creating awareness on environment. MTV Switch, the campaign created to help slow down the acceleration of global warming, can be said effective, owing to its fresh approach to the subject.
MTV Switch campaign tries to create something positive out of negative situations. Two negative situations are depicted in these ads which are displayed here. With a message- âEven the worst person in this world needs the world.â In the first situation there is this mean, apathetic boss who belongs to the group of men/women that all the employees in this world would like to hate. But at the end of the ad, we can see he leaves his office in his bicycle. In the second ad, two burglars enter a house and steals valuables, cheating a poor granny. But, the burglar does not forget to close the water tap.
These incidents are naturally incredible. But the campaign makes it believable. Watching these videos, we canât help but laud the perfect execution of these ads at all levels and silently say âkudosâ.
