The veteran Hollywood star Michael J. Fox has recently appeared in a television advertisement to re-elect Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle. In recent times, as the elections on November 7 approaching fast, the candidates in fray have speeded up their advertising campaign and increasingly taking help of celebrities in order to cash in their popularity.
Fox in the advertisement has also touched the controversial issue of stem cell research, which certainly few think it as a risky business. Fox also alleged that U.S. Rep. Mark Green is not in favor of embryonic stem-cell research. Further, Fox speaks facing the camera that ‘What you decide can affect millions of people – like me, like your family.’
