Massive Inc. which has only been focusing advertising within PC games now in conjunction with Take Two Interactive Software Inc. will put billboards, logos and other corporate promotions for Major League Baseball 2K6. As part of the agreement Massive will deliver dynamic advertising solution for MLBAM-licensed videogames and also for Major League Baseball Players Association.
Advertisers are expected to pay up to $100 million for this in-game advertising endeavor and Mitch Davis, Massive Chief Executive feels
that could swell to $3 billion in 2010 as ad money chases the coveted demographic of 18 to 34-year-old men, who are increasingly turning to games as their primary form of entertainment.
