Mark Tutssel is Leo Burnett’s new global Chief Creative Officer

Advertising agency Leo Burnett Worldwide has promoted Mark Tutssel, currently deputy chief officer to the post of chief creative officer, thus putting him in a position to oversee creative work from its 94 offices.

Tutssel, 47, will succeed Miguel Angel Furones. Furones, 56, will now serve as the chairman of Leo Burnett Iberia and also will work with Tutssel through the rest of the year to manage the transition.

In his new role Mark Tutssel will not only oversee the creative work produced by the network’s 94 offices but also he will focus on improving the product and will seeking out new consumer contact opportunities. He will also nurture the existing creative talent within the network and try to attract the best creative talent to the brand. He will also review Leo Burnett’s creative work on a quarterly basis.
