If subway trains can be all wrapped in ads why not the part of its tunnels? After all, instead of black boring tunnels, commuters will have something to ponder on. That’s the new plan of MTA (Metropolitan Transport Authority), as the officials are testing the moving commercials along tunnel walls.
The first testing pilot program will begin this summer. Earlier in Chicago the technology has been tried on PATH lines. Quite interestingly, the rates for the spots will be determined by train speeds. Probably, more the speed, less the rate would be. In high-speed places advertisers may go for long stretched advertising with much bigger fonts, may be.
