Keeley’s skinny ad cleared by ad watchdog

The television commercial for Zoo magazine featuring Keeley, who was voted the second sexiest woman in the world, has been cleared by the Advertising Standards Authority. Earlier complaints made to the ASA regarding the ad have alleged that the ad has ‘objectified women’ and was inappropriate to watch with children.

Interestingly, the advertising watchdog withholding the complaints ruled out ‘We noted the woman’s breasts remained covered throughout the ad. She looked happy while shopping for lingerie – she was not portrayed as vulnerable or submissive.’

The ASA further argued that they were acknowledging the fact that some children might watch it at 8 PM on a Saturday however; the ad they said contained no explicit and inappropriate scenes.
