Kate Moss plays Amazonian goddess in steamy new Versace ad campaign

She may be nearing 40, but Kate Moss really doesn’t look like she is in the mood to step out of the limelight for someone 20 years her junior. Not only is the 38-year-old supermodel busier than ever, she is also roping in the some of the most prestigious print campaigns in the industry at the moment. And even though it may seem like just another feather in her cap, Kate Moss seems to have undergone a complete transformation for the latest print campaign that she has posed for. For the new spring/summer 2013 campaign for Versace, Kate Moss has been given a nearly unrecognizable makeover in which she looks more like an Amazonian goddess and less like the grungy British chick that she actually is.

Despite being one of the most recognizable faces in the industry, Moss sizzles in the new campaign that sees her statuesque figure in a number of fashion shots. Posing against a brooding and dark background, Moss looks nearly invisible in the incandescent shots as she had been given a very tanned look for the shoot. In one of the images, she wears a sheer lace top and matching while another sees her in gold detailing and cut out panel laden aqua-blue gown. The moody campaign was shot by photographers Marcus Piggott and Mert Alad who have done their best to capture the mesmerizing image evoked by the supermodel.

In all the shots, the model seems to be oozing with vitality and vigor and does in fact look much, much younger than what her driver’s license would tell you. wearing gladiator-style heels, the supermodel’s lean legs are highlighted in the shoot that also sees her exposing her very firm and toned midriff with clearly visible abs. with a strong look matched to the strong frame, the supermodel not only looks early 20-ish, she also looks younger and more full of vitality than the young and strapping male models that she is posing with.
