JC Penny: Every day matters

This television advertisement campaign was launched by JC Penny during the 2007 Oscars. The advertisement simply aims at conveying how the firm is helpful for people in their daily lives. The advertisement is showing a music box house that comes to life to portray a day of an average person. The advertisement also incorporates a song titled, ‘Forever Thursday’. Moreover, the advertisement appears to be not that attention grabbing yet conveys the basic idea.

The advertisement towards the end attempted to signify the routine life will go on to remain on for ever and every day of this life matters a lot. The advertisement offers a glimpse of a perfect daily life of an average family, which has been shot fantastically. However, the product benefit is not that pronounced yet it sufficiently makes it clear. The punch line of the advertisement says, ‘every day matters’. The advertisement was developed by Saatchi & Saatchi.
