Intuit Inc. the provider of business and financial management solutions for SME businesses have filed a lawsuit in federal court against H&R Block alleging that the later has copied one of its television commercials the “No More Tax Stores” ad and said that H&R Block thus violated its intellectual property. Intuit alleged that Block’s ad shamefully copies in its commercial the physical appearances, costumes, settings, outdoors and characters in its TurboTax ad.
H&R Block in response says it is not at all surprised by the lawsuit which by doing so tries to plan and halt the progress of a successful competitor.
