World record holder British solo sailor Alex Thompson has renewed a multi million pound sponsorship deal with Hugo Boss. The sponsorship deal is supposed to include regional tours and three major rounds of the world races. They are Dame Ellen MacArthur’s inaugural Barcelona World Race 2007, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston’s Velux 5 Oceans 2006 and the Vendee Globe 2008.
Alex Thompson is the real superstar of the game. Hugo Boss has renewed the contract with this world record holder who has bags of intrinsic raw talent because the brand can relate to him.
In addition to the three above mentioned races, Thomson will also wear the brand in his sleek yacht in four corners of the globe. He will also represent many a hospital and promotional events across North America and Australia.
