Hitachi America has recently launched its largest-ever North American brand positioning campaign. The ad campaign includes online documentary style films involving North American customers of Hitachi. These five-minute short films will show the experiences of their targeted customer and how the company is contributing in changing their life with the help of the products.
The total estimate of the upcoming ad campaign is not known as of now. The campaign has been titled ‘Hitachi- True Stories’ and it is developed by McCann-Erickson. Further the campaign will promote an array of products of Hitachi including medical technology, information and telecommunication services and power and industrial infrastructure. The campaign will be surfaced through online, print and outdoor advertising.
The approach of the ad campaign is quite unique and it slightly resembles or reminds the Bold Moves ad campaign of Ford.
