The supermarket chain, Hannaford Bros. Co. has started their search to hire an advertising agency of record and the company has entrusted this task to a marketing firm Pile and Co. Inc. to assist them for selection. The company is owned by Delhaize America Inc. Remarkable growth of the company in recent times has encouraged its recent move f hiring an agency.
The prospective advertisement account of the company has been estimated around $4 million. As of now the there is no serving agency for the company and Boston based Pile and Co. will review the hiring process which is scheduled to be met by January next year. Hannaford at present operates stores in major cities such as in Maine, New Hampshire, New York and other and the stores exceed 150 marks in numbers.
