Google surging up to position to move into radio-ad business

Google has recently announced that it is preparing itself to expand its position into $20 billion radio industry. However, Google has clarified that it will start the public test of Google Audio Ads by the end of this year. The process of buying targeted ads for radio will be the same as advertisers buy Web search ads online using AdWords system.

Google had already made it clear about its keen interest in entering into radion advertising when it agreed to pay $ 1 billion, depending on the performance, to dMarc Broadcasting Inc. dMarc has established a radio ad marketplace to automate the ad-buying method and allow buyers to track their advertising campaigns.

On the other hand, Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, has said that the company would require strength of 1,000 employees to push its latest venture. Moreover, this time around speculations are taking rounds that Google is in talks with Clear Channels Communications in order to buy $ 1 billion advertising.
