Mobile handset brand Nokia is the most searched brand on Google.co.in, as per the first ‘Brand Zeitgeist’ in India released by Google. Nokia is followed by SBI, Samsung, Sony, BSNL, Tata, IRCTC, HDFC, ICICI and Airtel.
While searching for Nokia, users mostly wanted to know mobile specifications and prices. Another noticeable thing is that the search for Tata and Airtel brands was mostly related to ‘broadband connections’.
LIC is the most searched brand in the insurance category. In the automobile space, Maruti is the most searched brand in cars.
The ‘Brand Zeitgeist’ was released at the Google Creative Sandbox event held in Mumbai.
