Google Inc. is going beyond Internet and now you will have Google Radio by the end of this quarter. In its first such full-fledged move the search engine giant is buying dMarc Broadcasting, for an estimated $1.2 billion, a radio media spot seller firm that connects advertisers to bunch of radio stations. dMarc Broadcasting, a digital radio ad firm founded by brother duo Chad Steelberg and Ryan in 2002 acts as a media planner for its advertisers to let their ad spots reach perfect demography by effective scheduling.

Greg Sterling feels Google’s move into Radio advertising transmits the signal that it’s trying to make itself a one stop shop advertising platform fro its advertisers. Its no wonder that Google advertisers now will have more options in their hand.

So should we presume that after this media buying firm Google who already bought lot of technical magazine space (only to sold them later to its online advertisers) will be eyeing now television media buying and selling also.
