Google’s advertising revenue in U.K. is all set to outshine Channel 4 in the current year stamping the phenomenal rise of internet advertising. Chief executive of the broadcast company, Andy Duncan, has reportedly said that that it seems Google’s ad revenue in U.K. this year is likely to be settled around £900 million overtaking Channel 4, which is the second largest ad-funded TV Company in U.K. Andy Duncan’s forecast is based on Google’s first-half revenue figures that states a dramatic rise in the revenue, however, Google has reportedly preferred to remain salient on the accuracy of the forecast.

Google’s advertising revenue has risen rapidly in recent years and the majority of the revenue has been generated from search advertising. Touching a £ 900 million mark, would mean Google has doubled its ad revenue if compared with the last year, which accounted for 14 percent of Google’s total ad revenue.

On the other hand, Channel 4’s advertising revenue in the current year is expected to be recorded at £ 800 million. Further, Andy Duncan has admitted that these changes are not cyclical issue rather it is due to the structural changes.
