Healthcare and education organizations had achieved the highest average CTR through the email marketing campaigns. Besides the telecom and computer companies have experienced the lowest results this year and these facts were revealed in the silver pop reports. The open rates can also be calculated by dividing the number of opened messages to the number of messages delivered. Educational organizations had recently achieved the open rates 26.2%. Whereas the financial services had achieved 22% and consumer products had achieved 23.8% open rates. The top quartile has achieved 46.1% in the education sector, where as the top-retailers had achieved an impressive percentage of 39.6%. On the other side, the electronics, telecoms and computers had achieved a very low open rate.

 

These reports have also revealed the fact that the open rate does not capture the images accurately due to the image blocking. It also has the capability of underreporting the number of people viewing your messages. This uncertainty had led to the fall in importance of open rates. This is the reason why the demand for the open rates has decreased these days.
