If there is a will, there is a way. It is not a only an adage, it is evident in Rome. Billboards are forbidden in Rome’s historic center, the site of ancient ruins and world’s famous monuments. However, there was a loophole in the law and advertisers lost no time to sneak in.
The catch is, advertisers propose to undertake the restoration of the historic building and in return, the city permits them to hang huge advertisements on the scaffolding erected for the project.
