This television commercial of Connex has been banned in Australia on the ground that it was scary to children. The advertisement titled ‘Don’t hold others back’ aimed at depicting that how trains are delayed due to unnecessary actions of commuters and how other routine activities contributes to delay the train and commuters.
However, the advertisers were fuming over the findings of the advertising watchdog. The company had expressed concern on the fact that the ban was awarded to the ad on the basis of single complaint received by the ASA.
