England football striker Michael Owen has clinched a deal with ASDA clothing. The best part of the campaign is, for a mere four-week’s promotion of the brand, he will receive a cool £100,000. The deal is however, the result of a true friendship.
Michael Owen’s dear friend Wayne Rooney and his fiancee Coleen McLoughlin earlier had become the face of the ASDA clothing. However, Roony could not attend the photo shoot as he was undergoing treatment for sudden foot injury. Therefore, he recommends Owen’s name for the job.
