Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But, well, I believe in the concept of Beer Goggles. But, I will laugh when a campaign tries to communicate to the youth not to drink too much just because of beer goggles. Well, that is what DrinkAware, a charity organization in UK has done in its new campaign.
The campaign shows beer goggles in a symbolic way, hinting the concept that getting drunk will make you hook up with someone who is not attractive to you when you are in a sober condition.
Well, this way of communication is misplaced. No youth will stop consuming alcohol fearing beer goggles. Try another time.
