Advertisement is speeding itself to increase its presence on the screens of mobile phones. However, the mobile ads are around since 2001 but now it has started gaining momentum owing to the technological advancements in recent times. Now every company is trying to make their presence felt on the consumers’ mobile phones and it will certainly give mobile phone users a tough time in coming days.
In a recent study, it was revealed that by the year 2007 cell phone ad revenue is likely to double by touching $1.5 billion mark. In another survey, it was predicted that by 2011 cell phone ad revenue would jump to $11 billion mark.
Speaking of present times, the advertisers have already devised several cell phone compatible ways to advertise. At present, cell phones ads are dominated by video ads, banner ads, product placements in video games and coupons. Therefore, consumers should now be prepared to receive an avalanche of ads on their phone screens needless saying another nuisance to counter.
