Piaggio Vespa has launched this print advertisement campaign in Dubai to promote its range of scooters. All Vespa Scooters are made in the Piaggio factory in Pontedera in the Pisa region of Italy, but are enjoyed all around the world. The campaign aims at focusing this very aspect of the product and then attracting customers in UAE for the internationally acclaimed brand. The campaign has taken efforts to outline the worldwide acceptance the product enjoys. To highlight this perspective the advertisement are interestingly showing world famous historical monuments, Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower and Big Ben tilted like Leaning Tower of Pisa, Italy.
However, despite a remarkable idea the presentation of the campaign is not so strong and expressive. Moreover, the campaign has more concentrated on highlighting its global acceptance than the product benefit. The appearance of the advertisements no doubt is appealing and effective enough to make any one chuckle but it is of course not attractive to look at. The campaign was conceptualized and created by FP7 Dubai.
