\nAn advertisement recently published in a leading newspaper has shown a Bible next to a pool of blood and it is carrying the headline, ‘In the name of the father’. Scotland Yard, which is carrying out the enquiry, will concentrate on whether the ad constitutes faith crime. <\/p>

The Gay Police Association is being investigated. It claims that a rise in homophobic attacks was due to religious belief. However, the ad appeared in the Independent newspaper on June 29, two days ahead of the Europride gay and lesbian parade in London. <\/p>\n

On the other hand, the gay community has backed the advertisement published by GPA. However, GPA has preferred to remain shut as the matter is still under investigation.<\/p>\n
