Size does matter, in advertising too. Indeed, to a large extent, advertising is all about exaggeration. It\u00e2\u0080\u0099s all about exaggerating the products, exaggerating the beauty, exaggerating anything to make an over-sized impression on the target audience. But, ASA is always watching. Not only on the racist side of ads, but also about the exaggeration of the size. The banned burger king advert proved this point.<\/p>

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has banned the television advert for the Tendercrisp chicken burger which featured a man eating a \u00e2\u0080\u0098large burger\u00e2\u0080\u0099 in a motel room. The commercial also featured an angry-looking cow on the doorway with the caption- So good, you’ll cheat on beef.<\/em><\/p>\n

But, ASA, which examined three real burgers found out that the burger featured in the advert was misleadingly over-sized, and banned the ad.<\/p>\n
