In the latest advertisement strategy, Chevrolet has pushed a few tragedies and historical personalities to promote its pick up trucks. The new television commercial of Chevrolet titled ‘Our Country. Our Truck’ has featured famous personalities such as Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr. former President Richard Nixon and Muhammad Ali. Further the advertisement is also showing catastrophic Katrina and memorials of September 11 attacks.<\/p>

The advertisement, this time around, is being heavily debated whether using those tragedies and those personalities for selling or promoting the truck is appropriate. However, there are views that suggest that using those personalities is like honoring them, therefore there is nothing much to be debated.<\/p>\n

On the other hand Chevrolet has stated that the commercial ‘Our Country. Our Truck’ was created to highlight ‘memorable key moments’ of recent American history.<\/p>\n
