It is surprising that soccer star David Beckham did not expect frenzied reactions from his female admirers when he decided to pose for the Emporio Armani underwear adverts in his, what else, but underpants.<\/p>\n

To be honest I was amazed by the huge billboard poster outside Macy\u00e2\u0080\u0099s department store, but even more amazed by the amount of people who turned up to see it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The 100-foot raunchy poster of the star displayed outside Macy\u00e2\u0080\u0099s department store created quite some oomph. The \u00e2\u0082\u00a410 million campaign could not have had a better model than the sex icon of world football. However, some people are saying that the image has been digitally altered to give that pumped appearance but the onlookers are not bothered about it. Beckham and the Armani underwear adverts have become synonymous. His first was the immensely popular shot of Beckham lying on a white bed in an open shirt and of course the all important \u00e2\u0082\u00a414 cotton and Lurex-stitched underwear.<\/p>\n
