\nThis is an ad for Samsung SL310W camera which was published in Lebanese newspaper ‘Al Mostakbal’. The ad shows Jesus snapping a picture of a bunch of nuns with the Samsung SL310W camera. The strange thing is that it was ghost of an ad. Means, the ad agency FP7 who created it, doesn’t have the Samsung account.<\/p>\n

The more curious fact is that FP7 picked up gold, a few silvers and even the ad agency of the year award at the recent Dubai Lynx awards<\/a>. But after this incident, the agency is being investigated by the award organizers.<\/p>

Why is it that so many incidents of fake ads doing their rounds are on a high? Why agencies opt campaigns for clients that they don’t have? Well. May be competition. May be they want to attract the client. May be the bloggers around the globe accidentally circulates these ads around the web, before it is approved.<\/p>\n

Anyway, Agencies, beware of these epidemic.<\/p>\n
