Walter L\u00c3\u00bcrzer, \u00e2\u0080\u0098the man who married creativity\u00e2\u0080\u0099, was inducted into the German Advertising Industry’s hall of fame.This title is presented by German business weekly \u00e2\u0080\u009cWirtschaftswoche\u00e2\u0080\u009c to personalities of special merit who have rendered outstanding services to the advertising industry. L\u00c3\u00bcrzer is the first Austrian to have been honoured in this way.<\/p>

L\u00c3\u00bcrzer\u00e2\u0080\u0099s career is like a creative fairytale. Born in Salzburg in 1942, he began his career, as a copywriter for McCann-Erickson. In 1972, he cofounded advertising agency TBWA Frankfurt. Three years later, he joined together with Michael Conrad to set up the agency L\u00c3\u00bcrzer, Conrad. Later this agency merged with Leo Burnett. He has been publishing the international advertising review \u00e2\u0080\u009cL\u00c3\u00bcrzer’s Archive\u00e2\u0080\u0099\u00e2\u0080\u009d since 1984. He is sharing his wisdom as a professor at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna. \t<\/p>\n
