It is not good to drag a person into unwanted public attention. Even if it is a leader, we should respect his\/her privacy. We can\u00e2\u0080\u0099t just poke our inquisitive nose into other\u00e2\u0080\u0099s life and laugh at them (unless it is Britney Spears or Paris Hilton).<\/p>

What prompted adpunch to say this is a particular incident, which may seem funny at first, but actually something which hurts sentiments. A billboard which carries an illustration of German Chancellor Angela Merkel in purple bra and knickers has been placed on Berlin\u00e2\u0080\u0099s main shopping strip, the “Ku\u00e2\u0080\u0099damm”. This is a part of a campaign for an underwear company. It uses a slogan resembling a political tone- \u00e2\u0080\u0098The country needs new undies\u00e2\u0080\u0099
\nThe campaign urges consumers to trade in their old underwear for a discount on new ones.<\/p>\n

Angela Merkel is not new to controversies. Last year, she made headlines by wearing a low-cut dress to the opening of the Oslo Opera House. “Merkel’s Weapons of Mass Destruction” that was the headline of the British tabloid \u00e2\u0080\u0098the Daily Mail\u00e2\u0080\u0099.<\/p>\n

But this is not intentional. She was dragged into unwanted public gaze in an embarrassing way.<\/p>\n
