In a recent development advertising watchdog has condemned Irish airlines Ryanair<\/a> for the misleading advertisement to promote ‘zero fare’ flights that actually costs around 21.70 pound to a passenger. The Advertising Standards Authority<\/a> acting on a complaint ruled out that the company should have made it clear that the passenger would be required to pay taxes and other charges on all tickets.<\/p>

The ASA was acting on the complaint made by British Monarch Airlines has asked the Dublin based company to drop the TV commercials. Further, the airline in question has been held guilty on breaching the advertising code on the fact that the charges on each ticket were ‘non-optional’.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, the airline company had came under intense criticism for an ad to promote three million free tickets as the ad failed to convey that the campaign has not included flights on Fridays.<\/p>\n
