So, DDB folks love trees, at least they do not want to waste paper. DDB Berlin has done a curious effort to stop the unnecessary practice of printing out emails which causes needless waste of paper.<\/p>

So, the agency created an application and installed it on all DDB computers.When an employee presses the \u00e2\u0080\u0098print\u00e2\u0080\u0099 button, he or she can watch the mouse pointer turns into a little motor saw icon accompanied by the appropriate sound. A small description field will pop up and shows the message: \u00e2\u0080\u0098Save paper, save trees. Please do not print out this e-mail. Thank you!\u00e2\u0080\u0099 If the user presses \u00e2\u0080\u0098OK\u00e2\u0080\u0099 for printing, he will hear the sound of shivering wood and a falling tree. If the user presses cancel\u00e2\u0080\u0099, the saw stopped and he heard birds singing.<\/p>\n
